Newcastle will celebrate Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18.

The family event will include activities, food vendors, live raptors, Hazen Jazz Band, Boeing Concert Band and booths featuring green products and services presented by businesses and non-profit environmental organizations.

The event also will include presentation of Earth Day Hero Awards.

The event will be held at Lake Boren Park, 13058 S.E. 84th Way.
