Gloria Marguerite Bors, longtime resident of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, in her home after a year-long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Bors was born in Duluth, Minn., on July 25, 1930 to Clifford and Marguerite Nys. She attended and graduated from Catholic School and worked at a local bank for a few years afterwards.
She married Elmer Bors on May 17, 1952, relocating to the Seattle area in 1959. They built their home in Bellevue in 1965 and lived there ever since.
Mrs. Bors loved to bowl, and was secretary for every one of her leagues over the years. She enjoyed square and round dancing in the 1970s and travelled on dance cruises.
She is survived by her children, Lynn DeBolt (Michael) of Mt. Vernon, Wash., Laurie Aves (Morrie) of Florence, Colo., and Glen Bors of Bellevue; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
There will be no service. She will be interred at Tahoma National Cemetery.
