Robert L. Jones

Robert L. Jones died at his home in Goodyear, Ariz., March 19, 2009, after a three year battle with lung cancer. Mr. Jones moved to Arizona in 2004 from the Bellevue/Issaquah area.

Born July 8, 1923, at Chico, Mont., Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of more than 63 years, Barbara J. Jones; two sons, James L. Jones of Goodyear and Richard O. (Shelley) Jones of Poulsbo, WA; and two daughters, Terry (Mike) Yager of Rancho Murieta, Calif., and Gerry Murdy of Goodyear; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jones was raised and lived in Livingston and Park Country, Mont., and moved his family to Washington in 1967, where he was a successful businessman until his retirement in 1986.
