Bellevue Police were searching for two suspects in a vehicle theft Friday.

Shortly after 12 p.m., a motorcycle officer blocked entry onto Southeast 28th Place off Richards Road, in the area of the Sequoia Grove Apartments.

Two suspects in a vehicle theft had been seen “running into the neighborhood,” an officer at the scene said.

Two officers with a K-9 unit were searching the area around the street, and were seen searching a wooded area about 500 feet south of the street shortly before police moved on.
