The Overlake Hospital Auxiliaries will host their annual Bandage Ball gala event and fundraiser on May 14 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, 900 Bellevue Way N.E. The event is the largest fundraiser of the year to benefit Overlake Hospital Medical Center and includes dinner, dancing and entertainment, along with silent and live auctions and inspiring patient care stories.

Brad Goode, KING-5 Morning News anchor, will serve as master of ceremonies.

“Bandage Ball is an honored tradition that I’m so pleased to be part of,” said Molly Stearns, who took the helm in 2010 as executive director of the Overlake Hospital Foundation and Auxiliaries and vice president of fund development. “Last year, we celebrated Overlake’s first 50 years serving the community. This year, we’ll celebrate the start of the next 50 years, as we continue to grow and develop new partnerships and new ways of providing excellent medical care for our community.”

New at this year’s event is a social media element that invites attendees to share why they support Overlake in mini interviews videotaped at the event. Their stories will be shared during the evening’s presentation and via Overlake’s social media outlets.

Auction items include a Walla Walla wine weekend, a VIP experience at the Seafair hydroplane races, four weekends driving the hottest new cars from Barrier Motors, a party for 20 at a Seattle Mariners’ game, a pilot test drive on a Boeing airplane simulator, a private dinner for 10 at Chateau Ste. Michelle winery, a Bellevue Collection bonanza of gift cards and more.

Tickets are $250 per person and available online online.
