P.F. Chang’s in Bellevue and Lynwood are among 33 of the restaurant chains the company reports were possibly compromised by an intruder seeking to steal credit and debit card data.
P.F. Chang’s released a statement Monday that it believes an “intruder may have stolen some data from certain credit and debit cards that were used during specified time frames at 33 restaurant locations, including one at Bellevue Square and another in Lynwood. The company reports P.F. Chang’s has been processing credit and debit card data securely since June 11.
The company was alerted to the issue by the Secret Service on June 10, and an investigation into the potential data thefts is ongoing.
