The man who allegedly robbed a Bellevue pharmacy at gunpoint along with two others in King County on Feb. 4 has been apprehended by police.
Evan Quillin, 27, was arrested by the Bellevue Police on March 8 for the robbery of the Bartell Drug Store on Northeast 8th Street, as well as two burglaries of pharmacies in Kenmore and Shoreline.
On Feb. 1, the King County Sheriff’s Officer responded to a theft of cough syrup at the Ride Aid Pharmacy in Kenmore. The following day, the sheriff’s office responded to another theft of cough syrup at a QFC pharmacy in Shoreline.
Police believe Quillin is the suspect in both thefts, as well as a Feb. 4 robbery in Bellevue in which he reportedly jumped over the pharmacy counter and told the pharmacist on duty that he had a gun. He then allegedly fled the scene on foot, heading towards 120th Avenue Northeast at Northeast 6th Street. A traffic camera later showed him getting into a silver Toyota pickup.
Late last month, the King County AFIS determined that the hand print lifted by King County Deputies from the shoreline incident had a match in the system. Quillin was then subsequently identified in video surveillance from all three incidents, as well as by eyewitnesses. He is also reportedly the registered owner of the silver Toyota involved in the Bellevue robbery.
Bellevue Police and King County Sheriff’s detectives then served a search warrant on Quillin’s Woodinville home and found clothing that matched the clothing worn by the suspect in all three cases.
He has been booked into King County Jail on two charges of burglary and one charge of robbery, according to jail records.
