The results are in from the recent Drive Hammered, Get Nailed enforcement campaign conducted from Aug. 19 through Sept. 5.

In King County, officers on routine and extra patrols arrested 452 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI). Statewide, law enforcement officers arrested 1,824 drivers for DUI.

The Bellevue Police Department participated in the stepped-up patrols.
