Police seek hit-and-run suspect

A 20-year-old Bellevue man was transported to Overlake Medical Center with a serious leg injury after he was struck in a crosswalk on the 15200 block of Lake Hills Boulevard on Saturday night, which knocked him 40 feet from where he was hit.

A 20-year-old Bellevue man was transported to Overlake Medical Center with a serious leg injury after he was struck in a crosswalk on the 15200 block of Lake Hills Boulevard on Saturday night, which knocked him 40 feet from where he was hit.

Bellevue Police report the man was found by passing motorists against a curb in the roadway around 6:15 p.m., but there were no witnesses to the hit-and-run itself. Based on debris left at the scene, police have identified a Subaru Forester Limited (2009-2013) as a suspect vehicle, and are seeking information from anyone with information that may assist in the investigation.
