Portion of Lake Washington Boulevard to shut down in August and September

Drivers in north Bellevue might run into some traffic snags soon, as the city of Kirkland continues upgrades for Lake Washington Boulevard south of Northeast 38th Street.

Drivers in north Bellevue might run into some traffic snags soon, as the city of Kirkland continues upgrades for Lake Washington Boulevard south of Northeast 38th Street.

Kirkland is currently working with utility providers to relocate water mains, fiber optics and power lines on that stretch of road which straddles Kirkland and Bellevue.

Between Aug. 1 and late September, the city will completely shut the road to install a box culvert for Cockran Springs Creek.
