Tomorrow, Tuesday, Overlake Medical Center will host a panel of medical experts to discuss issues of women’s pelvic health. The event is free, but preregistration is required.

Presenters will include Dr. Kathryn Arendt and urogynecologist Dr. Elizabeth Miller, both board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery; Dr. Mitra Ehsan, a colorectal surgeon; and physical therapists Kathy Golic and Sagira Vora.

The speakers will cover common disorders—such as incontinence, pelvic organ pressure, constipation, menopause and hormone therapy—available options for diagnosis and treatment, and strategies for improving pelvic floor health. It is estimated that nearly a quarter of all women live with pelvic health disorders affecting quality of life.

The panel will be held in Overlake’s PACCAR Education Center, on the first floor of the West Parking garage on the hospital campus. It will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
