The American Cancer Society will hold a kickoff celebration for its Bellevue Relay for Life on Jan. 23, 10-11 a.m. at Lincoln Square Cinemas (700 Bellevue Way NE).

The event will feature relay information, survivorship communications and networking opportunities for individuals and groups interested in the fight against cancer.

A leadership team will also select past team members, team captains, participants and survivors to be honored at this year’s relay.

The Bellevue Relay for Life takes place June 12-13 from 2 p.m. to 8 a.m. at Bellevue High. The theme is “Celebrating More Birthdays.”
