Northbound lanes on I-405 in Bellevue will close again this weekend as crews continue to replace hundreds of cracked concrete panels. The work will take place from 10 p.m. Aug. 9 through 4 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
In addition, crews also will grind and seal the concrete pavement between State Route 520 and Northeast 70th Street in Kirkland.
Finally, crews will replace a corroded drainage pipe on SR 167, closing the northbound ramp to I-405 from 10 p.m. Aug. 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
Motorists are advised to plan for delays as traffic will clog other routes, complicated by the anticipated large turnout on Saturday at the Mariners game when the team inducts Ken Griffey Jr. into the Mariners’ Hall of Fame at 6:10 p.m.
