The city will host a group of Bellevue residents who have gone green during a neighborhood forum June 30 at city hall, where attendees can learn from the panel about ways to improve energy efficiency, create rain gardens, implement urban agriculture and set up solar energy.
“Going Green in Your Home and Neighborhood” will run 7-8:30 p.m., with panelists discussing their experiences working with local organizations for a greener Bellevue, such as Farmer Frog, Eastside Energy Corps, Master Naturalists and 12,000 Rain Gardens for Puget Sound.
No registration is required, and more information can be gained by calling the city’s neighborhood outreach staff at 425-452-6836 or by email at jellenhorn@bellevuewa.gov.
