Run to aid children’s cancers set for Medina

Richard’s Run Bellevue, an event to raise money for childhood cancers, will be held in Medina on Sept. 24.

 

Richard’s Run Bellevue, an event to raise money for childhood cancers, will be held in Medina on Sept. 24.

Money raised will support Seattle Children’s Hospital and Go4theGoal (www.go4thgoal.org), a not-for-profit organization that provides supportive services to children with cancer and their families.

The 5K family fun run/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 8398 N.E. 12th St., Medina. On-site registration begins at 7 a.m.

Donations are $25 each (includes one T-shirt) or $55 family (includes two T-shirts). Live entertainment will provided along with awards.
