Residents can help feed the hungry and beat Denver by donating canned food to the First United Church of Bellevue.

The church, along with more than 70 others in the greater Seattle area, have been challenged by Methodist churches in Denver to see who could collect the most canned foods before the Super Bowl.

Donations may be dropped of at the church, 1934 108th Ave. N.E. any time before 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 3.
