The annual sheep shearing event at Kelsey Creek Community Farm Park will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25.
Free activities will include sheep shearing, sheep herding by Brian Ricards, fiber craft demonstrations by the NWRSA Spinners, heritage demonstrations by the Eastside Heritage Center, tractor-pulled hay rides by the NW Vintage Tractor Club, and 4-H & Kelsey Creek Farm animal exhibits.
Activities with nominal fees include pony rides, local honey, food items, and kid’s crafts.
Kelsey Creek Farm is located at 410 130th Pl. S.E. Shuttle service will be available from Wilburton Park & Ride, 720 114th Ave. S.E.
Admission to the park is free.
