The 2009 Special People’s Holiday Cruise will host more than 2,000 developmentally disabled adults, Sunday, Dec. 6 from 3:305:30 p.m. on Lake Union and Lake Washington.

Nearly 300 local boaters, nine dock and yacht club locations and thousands of volunteers will decorate their vessels to create the largest lighted boat parade of its kind in the Northwest. The guests on board will be treated to holiday snacks, jet-skiing reindeer and a visit with Santa Claus as they cruise through the Montlake Cut and near the 520 bridge.
