The Eastside Heritage Center’s Strawberry Festival is seeking sponsors for this year’s event.
The festival will be held June 27-28 at Crossroads Park. It is a family-oriented, historic community event, featuring fresh strawberry shortcake, historical and agricultural exhibits, food and vendor booths, entertainment, a classic auto show and a family fun area with games, inflatable bouncers and a strawberry shortcake eating contest.
In 2008, more than 35,000 people attended the two-day event – and consumed 6,000 pounds of strawberries
The festival is facing a $30,000 sponsorship shortfall, putting the continued success of the event at risk, organizers say. Ironically, the add that the current economic times hearken back to the 1930s, but that was also an era when
the original Strawberry Festival thrived.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $10,000, with a wide variety benefits, including name and logo placement on marketing materials, event signage and radio promotions, recognition on the Strawberry Festival website, and a complimentary booth space at the event.
Those interested in becoming sponsors should contact the Eastside Heritage Center at 425.450.1049 or e-mail director@eastsideheritagecenter.org. More information is available at www.bellevuestrawberryfestival.org.
