A new school and Faith Formation Center at St. Louise Parish is beginning to take shape as the steel frame goes up at the corner of Main Street and 156th Avenue Southeast.
The complete plan for the new School and center is a 50,000 square feet two-story building of which 35,000 will be finished immediately and the other 15,000 will be shelled-in for future completion. St. Louise School will opening in September, 2010.
Over the next three weeks the work will progress from east to west with the steel frames and then the decking for the second floor. Once the decking is in place construction crews will be able to pour the concrete floor of the second story. By the end of October they will begin framing the exterior walls.
