St. Louise to celebrate 50 years

St. Louise Catholic Parish in Bellevue will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.

The celebration begins Friday, Feb. 12, (founding date) with a recognition luncheon for founding members in the church hall. On Saturday, a special 5 p. m. Mass will be celebrated in the church, followed by a reception.

The

year-long celebration will include almost monthly events. A highlight will be the opening of a new elementary-school building in the fall.

St. Louise is one of the largest and most diversified parishes in the Seattle Archdiocese. It is located at 141 156th Ave. SE.
