More than 90 students will use Bellevue’s Glendale Country Club as an outdoor learning lab.
The April 30 event is organized by First Green, a nonprofit organization that joins with golf courses to let students perform hands-on experiments and tests focusing on environmental science and/or horticulture curricula.
Students will test water quality and soil samples, identify insects from a pond, conduct water measurements in Kelsey Creek, and learn about the life cycle of salmon. They’ll also have a putting contest on the practice green.
