Suspects rob Little Store at gunpoint | Police blotter for May 10-13

Sunday, May 13

Theft/Fraud: A suspect was seen loitering in and out of the locker room by the victim on the 100 block of 106th Ave. Northeast. The victim returned to his locker after working out and saw his lock was cut and his wallet was taken. The victim’s credit card was used immediately.

Armed Robbery: Suspects robbed the Little Store at gunpoint with a semi-automatic handgun on the 2800 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast. Suspects fled in a Toyota Camry with no license plates. Mercer Island PD located the vehicle as it was W/B on I-90. Mercer Island PD, with the assistance of SPD and WSP, stopped the vehicle at S. Rainier Ave / 20th Ave. Suspects had changed clothing but were positively identified by the victim and an independent witness. Detectives investigating.

Saturday, May 12

Assault: The suspect/husband and victim/wife got into an argument in the parking garage during which the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect was arrested for DV Assault and booked into jail.

Theft: Two suspects stole $2000 worth of items from a store and resisted security as they were being detained on the 700 block of Bellevue Way Northeast. All items were recovered and both were arrested and booked.

Friday, May 11

Fugitive from Justice: An officer conducted a traffic stop on the suspect on the corner of 120th Ave. Northeast and Northeast 8th St., who was found to have a felony warrant out of California and listed as armed career criminal. The California agency confirmed on warrant and agreed to extradite the suspect. The subject was booked into jail.

Thursday, May 10

Alarm/Trespass: Video alarm at gate of construction site captured a male subject walking on the property on the 11900 block of Northup Way. K9 Ozzy located and contacted the subject on site. Representative for the property was contacted and did not wish to pursue any charges for the trespass.

Agency Assist/K9: K9 Ghost and officer Lange assisted Medina PD on a burglary and tracked and located the suspect hiding outside on the property and also some evidence from at least one other crime (likely another burglary) on the 2600 block of Evergreen Pont Road. Multiple burglaries suspected in the area. Medina arrested and booked the suspect.
