Police in Medina dealt with multiple theft-related cases last week.
On the evening of July 7, a resident at the 2000 block of 77th Avenue noticed a suspicious person in a neighbor’s yard near the garage. The resident went to confront the individual, but the person ran off. Police said it didn’t appear as if anything was stolen.
The next day, an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 2400 block of Evergreen Point Road. A check of the license plate indicated the vehicle was reported stolen out of Seattle a couple of days earlier. The suspect was arrested without incident and booked into King County Jail.
