Thousands of Bellevue residents are without power due to downed trees and winds throughout the area that have darkened more than 11,000 Puget Sound-area residences and offices.
The majority of outages are in the Bel-Red corridor and Factoria neighborhoods, although additional outages have been reported in West and Northwest Bellevue.
Throughout the Puget Sound area, there are reportedly more than 11,000 outages, including more than 3,300 in Sammamish and Issaquah.
Close to 500 Puget Sound Energy customers are without power in the Bel-Red corridor and about 1,500 customers are also in the dark in Factoria as of 2 p.m. on Nov. 17. Roughly 70 homes in West Bellevue and 14 in Downtown Bellevue are also suffering outages.
Puget Sound Energy crews are currently investigating the various outages in Bellevue and throughout Puget Sound.
