All nine Bellevue fire stations are collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys For Tots Foundation, which will distribute them to children in need. Toys will be accepted through Dec. 21, although items can be dropped off until Dec. 24.

Gifts should be appropriate for the age groups of infant through 18 years old. Last-minute dropoffs will be distributed to local charities also in need of toy donations. Past experience has shown that childhood toys are more common, but that items for older children are sometimes lacking.
