Needle in arm: A subject was found passed out with a needle in his arm in the bathroom of a store in the 300 block of Bellevue Way NE. A records search found there was a theft warrant out for his arrest. Once cleared by hospital staff, he was arrested.
Oct. 11
Sibling rivalry: Two sisters got into a physical altercation with one another, leaving scratches on one. The parents did not want the girls prosecuted.
Death threat: A subject in China contacted a Washington resident, stating that he was flying into the U.S. that day and was going to purchase a handgun and kill his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend in Bellevue. He asked the resident to pick him up from Sea-Tac Airport, but the reporting party declined and contacted police instead.
Oct. 14
Hostile homeowner: Officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly near Southeast 34th Street and 108th Avenue Southeast. The car failed to stop at a stop sign and fishtailed through the intersection. Officers caught up to the driver as the car pulled up to an Enatai home. The driver failed to follow officers’ directions. While securing the driver — who was suspected of a DUI — the homeowner stepped outdoors and began screaming at police. When officers tried to stop the homeowner, he began punching and kicking officers. A physical fight ensued. Ultimately, both men were arrested.
Sheriff scam: Earlier this month, the victim was telephoned by a man who identified himself as Lt. Steven Davenport with the King County Sheriff’s Office. The man told the woman a warrant had been issued for her arrest because she had failed to respond to a jury summons, and told her to post her bail by puchasing $2,000 worth of gift cards and providing him with the serial numbers. When the victim attempted to arrange her attendance at her bail hearing, she realized she had been scammed.

Break-in bunch: A Clyde Hill homeowner stated that a man came to his door and told him he was “looking for his dog.” A short time later, the same man was part of a group that attempted to break down the front door. The subjects were unsuccessful and fled the scene. Meanwhile, other residences called to report damage to their front entrances. One caller reported coming home to their house being broken into and then heard a cell phone that wasn’t theirs ring inside their home office. They left and called 911. Police were unable to locate the suspects.
On the run: A caller reported a male subject running down the 11800 block of SE 60th St. in the rain without a shirt. He appeared to be disoriented and possibly under the influence. When officers located him, he stated he drank a gatorade bottle full of meth and cocaine and needed to keep running or he would have a heart attack. He was transported to the hospital.
Oct. 16
Dancing drama: A man was upset because he felt that a bus driver driving in the 14200 block of Eastgate Way was going to hit him while he was dancing in the bus turn-around zone. The subject began breaking windshield wipers and threatened to kill the bus driver. He was apprehended and transported to jail.
Oct. 17
Wi-Fi woes: A father and son were involved in a domestic violence incident in the 10600 block of NE 18th St. stemming from an argument about the Wi-Fi password. The 22-year-old son struck his father in the head several times and bit his neck. Electronics were also damaged during the argument. The son was booked into jail.
