Big Bawarchi, an Indian restaurant on the 1400 block of 156th Avenue Northeast, reopened Tuesday after being shut down the day before by King County Public Health for safety violations.

The health department reported Monday Big Bawarchi was found to be improperly cooling potentially hazardous food, as well as not keeping its holding temperatures for food at the proper temperatures.

Big Bawarchi corrected those issues that led to its closure and was allowed to reopen 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
