Bellevue City Council
Early election results indicate that incumbent Kevin Wallace will face challenger Steve Kasner in November. As of 4 p.m. Thursday, Wallace held 46.33 percent of the vote and Kasner 42.3 percent for the position 4 seat. They easily beat out Bill Hirt and Jeffrey Talada.
For position 6, Lynne Robinson led with 48 percent of the early return vote. But her competitor in the coming months is less clear. Don Davidson brought in 25.28 percent of the vote, 207 votes short of Vandana Slatter, with 26.37 percent.
For the position 2 seat, Mayor Conrad Lee will challenge Lyndon Heywood. There were no other challengers so the two automatically advance beyond primaries.
Results will be periodically updated through August 20 with the two candidates who have the most votes in each race, advancing to the November 5 elections.
