They’re back and they are ready to tear this place to pieces, or at least the piles of documents that will be dropped off at this year’s Shred-A-Thon hosted by Weichert, Realtors – Pillar Northwest and Guild Mortgage.
The annual event, which is free, offers area residents a convenient way to safely discard paperwork with personal or sensitive information. This year’s Shred-A-Thon takes place on April 21, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Weichert affiliate’s parking lot, located at 14100 SE 36th St. in Bellevue.
Weichert, Realtors – Pillar Northwest and Guild Mortgage will also be collecting maternity clothing, twin blankets/sheet, new underwear (all sizes and genders), baby formula and toiletry items to donate to Mary’s Place, a Seattle-based non-profit organization that assists the homeless.
“We invite anyone in the area to drop by our parking lot on April 21 to safely discard those stacks of old bills and other documents that may be taking up space in their house,” said Lara Germino, the owner and broker of Weichert, Realtors – Pillar Northwest. “They can also donate diapers or toiletry items to help the less fortunate in the area.”
Weichert, Realtors – Pillar Northwest is an independently owned and operate Weichert affiliate. The office serves the Seattle metropolitan area.
Guild Mortgage is a nationally recognized mortgage banking company with more than 250 branches and satellites serving homebuyers throughout the United States.
