Eastside gamers looking to score an Xbox One are invited to attend the midnight launch at the Bellevue Square Microsoft store on Thursday.

Attendees will have an opportunity to play the new console and exclusive title Forza Motorsport 5 starting at 10 p.m., with Xbox Ones going on sale at midnight Friday. Consoles not pre-purchased online will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The Microsoft store will also be giving away $5,000 in prizes during the event.

The University Village store in Seattle is hosting a Killer Instinct Ultra Fighter Gaming Tournament for the launch event and competitors will have a chance to win a trip for two to participate in the final round of the tournament in Jacksonville, Fla. They will also be able to attend the opening of the Jacksonville Microsoft store, which includes a musical performance by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
