Betty Ann Lyman

Betty Ann Lyman of Bellevue, went to her heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the age of 89. She was born in Seattle January 29, 1921 to Ann and Fred Wells. Betty graduated from Broadway High School. She married Kenneth Lyman in 1947, and they were happily married for 55 years. She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker and a compassionate friend. Her enjoyments were painting, reading, cooking and travel. Survivors include her sons Larry Lyman of Enumclaw, Jim Lyman of Brier, daughters Beverly Read of Auburn, Gayle Culver of Enumclaw, 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 2002. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 pm Monday, April 19 at Crossroads Bible Church in Bellevue. Remembrances may be made to Union Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice.
