Carl Soderberg

Carl James Soderberg passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2014. He was born in Seattle on November 9, 1928 to Carl and Jennie Soderberg, grew up in West Seattle, attended West Seattle High School, enlisted in the Army stationed at Florida, then married Emma Jean Flanagan on December 24, 1950. They had two daughters Vicky Jean and Cindy Lee.

Carl worked in sales, ending his career at 78 as a security guard. He always heped others particularly children through the Optimist Club and his church. He will be remembered by the hand written letters and notes he sent to friends and family.

Carl is survived by his wife Emma and daughter Cindy.

Memorial service will be held April 5, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2:00 pm, 14230 SE Newport Way, Bellevue. Donations, Bellevue Humane Society.
