Edward L. David

Edward L. David, of Bellevue, passed away November 24, 2008 at the age of 83.Born in Pontypridd, Wales, Edward eventually settled in Bellevue where he was actively involved with several organizations including the Marine Underwriter’s Association (past president), The College Club of Seattle, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Bellevue First Congregational Church, and the Puget Sound Welsh Association and Choir. He spent his career as a Marine Underwriter with the Royal Globe Insurance Company.Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann David, Edward is survived by his three loving children: Susan (Brad) Taylor of Bellevue, Barrett David of Tukwila, and Gretchen (Joe) Williams of Mercer Island; his sisters, Meagan Walth of Portland, OR and Mary Peabody of Palo Alto, CA. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Patrick and Brian Taylor, Emily David, and Jack, Grace, and James Williams. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Bellevue First Congregational Church, 752 – 108th Avenue NE Bellevue, Washington.
