H. Dale Bryan

Dale was born in Charlotte, Michigan October 9, 1920 to Howard and Ethel Fuller Bryan. He graduated from Western Michigan College in 1947 and received a master’s degree in economics from Michigan State University in 1951. He was employed in chemical merchandising and sales through-out his working life. He lived in Bellevue, WA.

A wounded veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy from the beginning of World War II until after it ended.

Dale and Jean Gorman were married in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1946 and shared sixty-seven years together.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Gates of Howell, Michigan, and by his wife, Jean, and their children Kathleen Gjerde, Michael Bryan (Clara), Stephen Bryan, Ann Douvier (Michael), and his grandchildren Sarah Longman (Forrest), Bryan Bowens, Dylan Bowens and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were with him to say goodbye.
