Luise “Liesel” Reichel

Liesel Reichel passed away peacefully at Harbor House in Poulsbo, Washington. She had been losing her battle with congestive heart failure for some years.

She was born in Froendenberg, Germany. She lived for 50 years in Bellevue and worked as a nurse’s aide for almost 25 years. Her husband Rudolf passed away in June of 1978. In July of 2009, she moved into an assisted living residence, Liberty Shores/Harbor House, in Poulsbo to be closer to her son and his family.

She is survived by a younger sister in Iserlohn, Germany and her son Rolf with his wife Diane (Carkeek) and their two sons Peter and Eric.
