Marcia Naramore Bryce

Marcia Naramore Bryce passed away peacefully in her Bellevue home on May 27, 2012 at the age of 87. Born in Seattle June 14, 1924. She grew up in Broadmoor and graduated from Garfield High School before attending the University of Washington. On May 21, 1948, she married Alexander M. Bryce Jr. and raised their two children, John and Laurie.Marcia was a member of Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club, the Seattle Tennis Club, Child Hearing League, Junior League, Children’s Orthopedic Guild and the Sunset Club. She loved to dance, visit her winter home at Marrakesh in Palm Desert and spend time with her family and many friends. Marcia was especially devoted to her five grandchildren: Nancy, Johnny, Jamie, Reily, and Janie. She loved spending time with all of them – instilling virtues and a sense of style that Marcia was known for. Her elegance, vitality and appetite for life will be greatly missed. A celebration of Marcia’s life will be held at her daughter’s home in Bellevue, Sunday, June10th 3-5pm.
