Marguerite M. Schafer Eminson
Marguerite M. Schafer Eminson passed away peacefully March 2, 2009, in Wenatchee, WA. She was born in 1914 in Hamilton, WA. to Louis and Mina McDowell Schafer. Marguerite was raised in Bellevue, WA where she met her high school sweetheart, Charles. They were married in 1932 in Bellevue, WA. Charles was the son of Horace and Zelda Eminson, who owned and operated the Bellevue Dry Goods Store on Main Street in Old Town Bellevue. Marguerite’s mother, Mina, owned and operated the Jane McDowell Candy Shop, from 1932 to the 1950’s on the highway between Bellevue and Kirkland, WA. Marguerite and Charles moved to Wenatchee in 1949, where Charles managed the Wenatchee Sears Store. He retired in 1969.In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her beloved Charles, her son Rodger, her sister Virginia and brothers Louie, Vincent and Richard. She is survived by a daughter and son-in law Barbara and Leslie Stull of South Carolina, grandchildren Janice Winn(J.R.) Leslee Ann Dasher(Tom) Tracy Stull, Dawn Casperson(Thor) and Keith Eminson, six great-grandchildren and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.Marguerite will lay in rest at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, WA.“THEY ARE TOGETHER AGAIN”199032
