Martin J. Greene

Martin J. Greene passed away peacefully on January 6, 2011. He was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1931. In the 1950’s he immigrated to Canada where he met his wife, Maura Healy. They later immigrated to the U.S. in the 1960’s and eventually settled in Bellevue, Washington. On July 4, 1976, at a bicentennial ceremony, Martin & Maura proudly became American citizens. Martin retired from the City of Bellevue Parks Dept. in 1989 after 20+ years of service. Martin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with is family, especially hiking and camping in the great outdoors. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Maura; his son David; daughter Karen and son-in-law Andy Cervarich: and grandchildren Tia, Brianna & Chris. A funeral mass will be held St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Snohomish on Friday, January 28 at 11:00 A.M.
