Peggy Fursman

Peggy was born March 8, 1967 in Seattle to Russ and Margie Vandenberg. She graduated from St. Louise Grade School, Holy Names Academy, Seattle University and Heritage University. She taught second graders at St. Joseph School, Issaquah. Peggy passed away on November 11, 2012, at home surrounded by family who are very appreciative of all the caring, love and support of the St. Joseph School and Parish community, her Snoqualmie area neighbors and friends and to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance staff who guided her six year battle with breast cancer. Peggy is survived by husband Jeremy, children Ian and Fiona, parents Russ and Margie Vandenberg, siblings, Julie, Russ, Sheila, Karen and Phil, sisters-in-law, Allison and Victoria and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A vigil and rosary service was held at St. Joseph Church, Issaquah on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Peggy’s funeral Mass was celebrated on November 19, 2012 at Mary, Queen of Peace Church, Sammamish.
