Robert L. Knowles

Robert L. Knowles, of Bellevue, passed away September 4, 2009 at the age of 82 years.Bob was born October 26, 1926 in Seattle, Washington to Lyle and Helen Knowles. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended UW. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII, after which he worked for Boeing for 38 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Lois Knowles; daughter, Cheryl (Boyd) Holding; son, Gordon (Sue) Knowles; and stepsons Charles Graham, Owen (Corrine) Graham; brother William Knowles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his stepson, Chris Rathbun.The family wishes to express their gratitude to Suh and Min-Min for the peace and serenity they brought to the family; and to Mike and Susan for their considerate and kind care during his last days.
