Willard D. Bevens

Willard D. Bevens, banker, naval aviator, UW graduate, former resident of Beaux Arts, Rotarian, husband and father. Born in 1921, Will grew up in Oregon, Idaho & Washington. Lt. Commander Bevens piloted PBY aircraft in the Alaskan campaign during WWII before settling in the Seattle area. With wife Shirley, deceased, and daughters Ann and Jane, Will enjoyed the Northwest. Survivors include wife Stella Hay Bevens, sister Jean, nephew Chris, 2 daughters and their husbands, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Emerald Heights Tuesday, October 25 at 3:30. Please consider a donation to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance or Evergreen Hospital Cancer Care. Honorable and loving, Will was a role model for many.
