Willma Francisco Calvin passed away on Sunday December 3, 2017. Willma was born to Norris Ellen and John Henry Francisco on February 12, 1926 in Indianapolis and grew up in New Castle, Indiana. She graduated from Our Lady of Angels High School in Cincinnati on June 2, 1944 and was a telephone operator at Camp Atterbury. She passed away at 91 years old.
Willma met her future husband Earl, on a blind date in October 1948. They were married on June 25, 1949 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in New Castle, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers John, Cassius, and twin brother Wilbur and three sisters Pauline, Jean and Esther June.
Willma is survived by her loving husband Earl, and her children Cathy (Mark) Sandridge, Earl (Melody) Calvin, Mary Ellen (Doug) MacKay and Laura Lee Reed, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday December 8, 2017 at Sunset Hills in Bellevue, WA – 4 pm to 8 pm. Celebration of Life Mass will be on Monday December 11, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue. Interment will follow at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
