This is in response to the letters from the two gentlemen regarding the misuse and perceived “true class” actions from the Seahawks players and organization.

I would like to suggest that what the Seahawks needed was a pre-announcement to the National Anthem that immediately following this ongoing ritual, that the fans in the stands be a part of this recognition of our country’s flag and pride, by asking each of us to turn and shake hands in solidarity to show the “true class” of the public at large, not just the men in football suits. This would be great if this was done all the time, along with play ball.
