Colton Bielaski wins it for Bellevue
Colton Bielaski hit a game-winning RBI double in extra innings, as Bellevue defeated Issaquah 1-0 in an eight inning contest at Bellevue High School on April 24.
Bielaski also picked up the win on the mound for Bellevue (8-8, 7-6 KingCo 3A), going all eight innings and allowing five hits and striking out six.
Jacob Kemmerer took the loss for Issaquah (8-6, 7-6), pitching the whole game for the Eagles.
Sammamish 7,
Mount Si 3
Chaz Demonbrun went 3 for 4 with two doubles and Chris Gott hit a two-run homerun in the second inning as the Totems defeated Mount Si 7-3.
Will Minice got the win for Sammamish (4-11, 4-10). Michael Davenport took the loss for Mount Si (7-7, 6-7).
Eastside Catholic 25, Bainbridge 2
The Crusaders scored 19 runs in the first inning and beat Bainbridge 25-2 in a shortened five-inning contest at Eastside Catholic High School.
Matt Boyd, Mike Bush, Mike Englund, and Kellen Matsuno all hit first inning homeruns for the Crusaders (16-1, 13-0 Metro League Mountain Division). Bush ended up with five RBIs in the win.
Bainbridge led 1-0 in the first inning.
Cedar Park Christian 8, Bellevue Christian 4
Jeff Calhoon picked up three RBIs to lead Cedar Park Christian past the Vikings 8-4.
Cedar Park Christian’s Abe Potts picked up the win for the Eagles (9-6, 4-3 Emerald City League). Bellevue Christian falls to 7-4 overall and 5-3 in league play.
Eastside Catholic 15, West Seattle 8
Ryan Stromberg and Cal Towey both hit first-inning homeruns to help pace Eastside Catholic to a 15-8 win over West Seattle.
Junior Troy Perry went 3 for 4 and knocked in five RBIs with two doubles for the Crusaders (15-1, 12-0 Metro League Mountain Division), helping Matt Boyd pick up the win.
Galen Howard-Markley and Trevor Martin both hit two-run homers for West Seattle (10-5, 7-5).
Bellevue 6,
Mercer Island 5
Alex Bielaski went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and Bellevue rallied back from a 4-0 deficit to win 6-5 in extra innings over Mercer Island at Island Crest Park.
Colton Bielaski picked up the win for the Wolverines (7-8, 6-6 KingCo 3A), throwing three hit-less innings while striking out five. Andy Thompson took the loss for Mercer Island (9-7, 6-5).
Sammamish 5, Liberty 4
Sammamish rallied from a 3-1 deficit to score four runs in the sixth inning on the way to a 5-4 win over Liberty.
Brandon Lawyer pitched all seven innings to earn the win for the Totems (3-11, 3-10). Liberty falls to 9-6 overall and 8-5 in conference play with the loss.
Skyline 11, Interlake 1
The Spartans pounded out nine hits and took advantage of three Interlake errors to beat the Saints 11-1 at Interlake High School.
Eric Beige scored twice for Skyline (10-4, 8-3), who scored six times in the first inning off starter Quinn Ressler. Ressler took the loss for the Saints (3-13, 1-12).
