Bellevue area hoops squads return to KingCo play tonight on court | Prep basketball news

Sammamish returns off a holiday tournament win, while Bellevue puts its perfect conference record on the line tonight against Liberty.

Sammamish won the Archbishop Murphy tournament during the holiday break and gets back to KingCo play looking to compete with Lake Washington for the conference’s lone 2A berth to districts.

That mission begins tonight against Crossroads Cup rival Interlake (1-9, 0-4), which lost to Foster 77-71 Saturday and has yet to win a KingCo game.

Nate Webner and Austin Clark are posting double-digit scoring averages to lead the Saints.

Bellevue won only one of its three games at the Max Preps Holiday Classic, but owns a perfect KingCo record of 4-0 as it travels to Liberty tonight.
