Bellevue 60, Bellevue Christian 36

Bellevue kicked off its season with a bang, as Stanford-bound Aaron Bright scored 25 points and the Wolverines knocked off Bellevue Christian 60-36.

Nate Sikma added 14 points for Bellevue (1-0). The Vikings (0-1) were led by senior David Downs, who scored 15 points.

Bellevue 55, Seattle Prep 53

Prep’s Kari Luttinen scored a game-high 26 points but Bellevue’s Alyssa Gilbert and Catelyn Webber each scored 19 points to led the Wolverines to a 55-53 season-opening victory.

Casey Warendorf also added eight points for Bellevue (1-0). Kellie Filips had 14 and Brittany McMillian added eight for Seattle Prep (0-1).
