Wolverines win against rival on hardwood

The Bellevue Wolverines won their fifth consecutive game with a 60-56 win against the Mercer Island Islanders on Jan. 12. Bellevue (11-1) will host the Sammamish Totems at 8 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Bellevue High School.

Totems defeat Wolves in non-league contest

The Sammamish Totems earned a 47-43 win against the Sequim Wolves in a non-league game on Jan. 16. Sammamish (7-7) will face the Bellevue Wolverines at 8 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Bellevue.

Lake Washington defeats Interlake

Lake Washington defeated the Interlake Saints 70-53 on Jan. 15. Interlake (0-15) will host the Liberty Patriots at 8 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Bellevue.

Bothell edges out Newport

The Bothell Cougars tallied a 73-62 win against the Newport Knights on Jan. 15.

Newport (6-8) will host the Redmond Mustangs at 8 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Newport High School in Factoria.

Vikings are thriving in early season action

The winning streak continued for the Bellevue Christian Vikings girls basketball team.

Bellevue Christian nabbed their sixth win in a row with a 44-32 win against the Cascade Christian Cougars on Jan. 15 in Puyallup. Bellevue Christian (12-1) will host Seattle Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Bellevue.

Wolverines roll over Rebels

The Bellevue Wolverines registered a 94-55 win against the Juanita Rebels on Jan. 15. Bellevue improved its overall record to 14-0 with the win. Bellevue will host the Sammamish Totems at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Bellevue High School.

Lake Washington cruises past Interlake in KingCo matchup

The Lake Washington Kangaroos nabbed a 62-48 win against the Interlake Saints on Jan. 15. The Saints (9-6) will host the Liberty Patriots on Jan. 22 at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Totems lose against Saints

The Interlake Saints defeated the Sammamish Totems 36-33 in a matchup between rival schools on Jan. 13. Sammamish (4-8) will face the Bellevue Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Bellevue High School.

WRESTLING

Interlake wrestling team defeats Liberty, Cascade in dual matches

The Interlake Saints wrestling team cruised to a 56-23 victory against the Liberty Patriots on Jan. 8. The Saints also turned in a dominating 50-16 win against Cascade on Jan. 12.

The Saints, who have improved their overall record in dual matches to 6-1, faced Bellevue Christian in a match on Jan. 21. As of press time, results are unavailable.
