Bellevue boys into tournament final with win | Prep basketball roundup

Bellevue picked up a win over Bothell to move into the championship game of the Kaufman Holiday Hoop Classic.

Bellevue 39 Monroe 43

Bellevue led by a point after the first quarter but was outscored by five points in the middle two periods in a 43-39 loss to Monroe in the KingCo-WesCo challenge.

Katie Savard put in a game-high 16 for the Wolverines in the loss.

Sehome 57 Bellevue Christian 54 (OT)

Alina Valle finished with 17 and Bree Oldham added 12 more, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a game-high 18 points from Rachel Albert, as Sehome defeated BCS 57-54 at the Lynden Christmas Classic.

BCS built a 11 point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but managed only 10 points combined in the final frame and overtime.

Bellevue 65 Bothell 55

The Wolverines boys fared better at the Kaufman Holiday Hoop Classic at Bothell High School, taking down the host Cougars 65-55 to move into the championship game.

Michael Carlson stole the show for Bellevue, pouring in a game-high 29, two more than Bothell’s heralded Zach LaVine. Timmy Haehl added 12 and Cole Walton nine in the win.

Rainier Beach awaits in tonight’s 8:30 p.m. championship game at Bothell High School.
