The Bellevue Dragons recently won the Pony League North Sectional Tournament held in Maltby, Wash., for their third-straight tournament title.

The Dragons, playing in the Mustang (10U) division, overcame a second game at the hands of the Mountlake Terrace All-Stars to bounce back and defeat the team twice to move on to regional play.

Jack Albrecht and Michael Medzegian sparked the Dragons bats early and Nathan Aebi and Jack Sampson pitched well to help Bellevue win 9-3 in the championship game.

The Dragons will be playing in the Pony Regional Championship in Enumclaw next against teams from Oregon, Washington and Alaska, with the chance to advance to the Super Regional held in Chino Hills, Calif.
